Nutrition By Michelle Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") operates both the Nutrition by
Michelle mobile application (the "App") and the Nutrition By Michelle Registration
website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard
your information when you use our App or interact with our website.
By accessing our website, downloading the App, or using our services, you agree
to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect information to provide you with a personalized and effective nutrition
program. The information collected varies depending on whether you use the App or
the website.

When you register or use the App, we may collect:
- Account Information: Email address, first name, last name, and
password (authentication via OAuth 2.0 with PKCE)
- Profile Information: Date of birth, gender, physical address, town,
postal code, province, cellphone number, profession, height, and weight
- Health & Fitness Data: Body weight, body measurements (neck, arms,
chest, waist, hips, thighs, calves), daily activity logs (water intake, exercise,
alcohol consumption), and journal entries
- Photos: Weigh‑in scale photos voluntarily uploaded
- Communications: Messages exchanged with your nutritionist through
the in‑app chat
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
When using the App or website, we may collect:
- Device Information: Device type, OS version, unique device identifiers
- Network Information: IP address, access times, and server communication
logs
- Usage Data: App interactions, session activity, and timeout events
- Log Data: Error logs and diagnostic information
- Anonymous Demographics: Non‑unique data such as postal code, age,
and gender
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- No advertising trackers or cross‑app analytics
- No GPS or location tracking
- No access to contacts, microphone, or calendar
- No selling of personal information

4.1 Data Storage
- All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
- Authentication tokens stored securely (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore)
- OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code with PKCE ensures secure authentication
- Automatic session timeout for account protection
4.2 Security Measures
We implement:
- TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
- Secure token‑based authentication (OpenIddict OAuth 2.0)
- Platform‑native secure storage for sensitive data
- Automatic session expiration
While we use industry‑standard safeguards, no electronic system is 100% secure.

You may stop all data collection by uninstalling the App.

purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information
to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we
are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes,
and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Generally, we retain user data for as long as your account is active or as needed
to provide you with services. If you are a customer, we may retain your transaction
information for a period of up to seven (7) years to satisfy legal and tax requirements.
Non-identifiable or anonymized data may be kept indefinitely for analytical purposes.
9.Data Deletion & Your Rights
You have the right to request the deletion of the personal data we have collected
about you. If you wish to have your data removed from our systems, please contact
us at support@nutritionbymichelleregistration.ca. Upon receiving a request for deletion,
we will delete your personal information from our active databases within thirty
(30) days, except for information that we are legally required to maintain (such
as for tax or accounting purposes). Please note that deleting your data may result
in the termination of your access to certain services or programs provided through
the NBM Portal.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that data was collected
from a child under 16 without consent, we will delete it promptly.
11. Cookies and In‑App Browser
The App does not place cookies. However, third‑party pages opened in the in‑app
browser may use cookies. You may manage cookie settings through your device browser.
12. Third‑Party Services
Our App and website may link to third‑party services. We are not responsible for
their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted in the App
and on our website, with the "Last Updated" date revised accordingly.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
